But sorry to sa...This seems to be your pet subject. But sorry to say you have a blighted view. In case you want to know BJP or Govt of India's views on the problem of naxalites, then read the speeches of various leaders who have always said internal security is a major concern and naxalism is the biggest problem facing the country.

In the same vein, if you feel killings by naxals doesnt become headlines, also take a look at the no of naxalites killed by various state police deptts every year. Some 5-600 naxals have been killed by the police and security forces. every year . Even killing of naxals doesnt become an issue. And no supporters of naxals go to the court asking for human rights violations to be analysed or action to be taken against policemen. And no none of them go to jantar mantar asing for action against state police.

Take a look at this no of ppl killed by naxals
* 1996: 156 deaths
* 1997: 428 deaths
* 1998: 270 deaths
* 1999: 363 deaths
* 2000: 50 deaths
* 2001: 100+ deaths
* 2002: 140 deaths
* 2003: 451 deaths
* 2004: 500+ deaths
* 2005: 892 deaths
* 2006: 749 deaths
* 2007: 384 deaths
* 2008: 658 deaths

Overall some 5000 people killed in 12 years. In return the police has flushed out more than 3000-4000 naxals as well.

Count the no of those dead in bomb blasts ( more than 4000) and the number who have been killed in such blasts.Just imagine the hoopla the media and the human rights organisations wud have created if even 200-300 minority terrorists were to be illed by the police.

And yes before you start talking abt religion of the naxls, let me tell you the top leadership of naxals in AP is mostly dominated by minorities and in orisaa and jharhand, christians control the naxal leadership.As for Ulfa, well they have the wholesome support in the minority dominated areas of Assam and draw their cadres from such areas in a large scale.

So dont bring religion into the mix when it comes to the death of someone.Whether someone who dies is a hindu, muslim, sikh or christian, a loss of live is always a painful and horrible experience for the society. Lets not look at such deaths from the narrow angle of religion or by looing at the color,caste,creed or religion of the killers.Kundannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14053277.post-13389439781771505162009-05-23T07:43:19.749+05:302009-05-23T07:43:19.749+05:30Excuse me, because this is a political site, I hav...Excuse me, because this is a political site, I have something that I am dying to point out. I've noticed there's alot of segregation against different groups and I would just like to point that out.

1) Who is a Pakistani? Someone who lives between Afghnistan and India? True, but Pakistanis are human beings who created their country so they could have an oppurtunity to practice Islam. Millions have died migrating from India. Rivers of blood flew across the streets, even those Muslims who did not want to leave die. Who is an indian Muslim? A really fortunate minority in India who were not forced to leave for Pakistan and survived the bloodshed.

2)Is an Muslim from India better than a Muslim from Pakistan? Is a Pakistani better than an Indian? No, no one is better than the other. I am Pakistani, but my grandfather and ancestors fought along the Indian Army. As a matter of fact, many of them were generals and commanders in India.

3) Is there a difference between an Indian Muslim and Pakistani Muslims? "MUSLIM" is someone who submits 100 percent to the will of God. God did not say that anyone is superior to anyone else- so no.

4) Do Indian Muslims need Pakistanis to help them> Do PAkistanis need Indian Muslims to help them? A muslim helps to make his God happy, if its done for the sake of people its totally useless. You help someone because they need it- not because of their background.

5) What was the point of Pakistan? Why the hell was it made? Its suffering greatly today
True, Pakistan was made by Muslims who were devoted for their faith. Today Muslims are divided- and thats why India is doing great-(because Muslims are a minority..lol) but if we work hard we can do it. In the wnd, when we all die, we wont be able to tell whose bones belong to who- you won't be able to tell who was Christian, jew, Muslim, Indian, pakistan, American or Swedish... We are all in this together and without each other we are lost. We are brothers and sisters in islam, and we should look at ourselves and our faults before we look at others. i am a highschooler and the next generation is all about us. It take s a village to raise a child- and it takes a war and hatred to loose oneAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14053277.post-55994563565383385512009-05-23T03:37:10.276+05:302009-05-23T03:37:10.276+05:30The naxal terrorism threat has reached such unbeli...The naxal terrorism threat has reached such unbelievable proportions that it is really sad that media doesnt give it its due space. But, I don't agree with "they lost leaders to terrorism so how can they be soft" They are and the revival of Naxal terrorism in the past 5 years itself tells you a story. Take A.P for example - the TDP govt had almost eliminated the naxal threat, but Congress's strategy of "talks" allowed them to regroup and now they hold us to ransom once again. Similar is the case with relentless attacks across the country. Hope that Chidambaram does something worthwhile with the Home ministry which was earlier beaten into ground by the effete Shivraj Patilshrekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02588362931915719250noreply@blogger.com
