Akshat bhai...there are simple couplets also but I agree that the tough ones are really too tough. However, once you develop interest, the couplets start revealing their meanings on the reader.

Kisi ne ghalib k liye thik kahj hai ''Kalaam-i-mir samjhe aur zubaan-i-mirza samjhe, magar inka kaha yeh khud samjhe ya khuda samjhe". I think that ghalib's shers are notoriously complex for those who dont have understanding of persian. As compared to his contemporary zauq whose verse are of startling simplicity.
