The aim is that children, particularly, Urdu speakers and the students in Urdu medium schools in rest of the country, are able to identify places, their districts and seek information.
Apart from districts, the boundaries of the state and the names of the adjoining states are visible. Urdu is one of the two state languages of Uttar Pradesh, along with Hindi. Hence, there is need for map too.

Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in India. It is estimated to have a population of nearly 241-255 million [from 24 crore to around 25 crore] in 2025, on the basis of statistical projections. In fact, just a few countries in the world, have higher population.
India, China, United States of America (USA) and Indonesia are more populous than UP, though it is one of the 36 states and union territories in India. Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Bangladesh, Russia and Ethiopia also figure in the list of top ten countries, population-wise.
The largest state in India in terms of area is Rajasthan [342,239 sq km]. This is followed by Madhya Pradesh [308,252 sq km], Maharashtra [307,713 sq km], Uttar Pradesh [240,928 sq km] and Gujarat [196,024].
While UP is at fourth place in area, in terms of population it is at the top within India.
After UP, Bihar is the second most populous state, followed by Maharashtra, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. Rajasthan is at the sixth place. Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka and Andhra are also in the list of top ten.
